Picked up from a seller and very strange marks after unboxing steelbook...

Nevers see it on an edition ! :-(

I don't know if it is a defect in production or laybe because he puts two sleeves on top of sealed steelbook itself..

That looks really bad. If it can't be removed somehow, I would definitely complain/complain about it. This is definitely not normal.

That's the main reason why I don't open any of my editions anymore. Wants to get no more depression and nightmares from dented or scratched steelbooks.

Better do it soon if you're an opener. At least if a steel is damaged, you get a replacement, they keep some aside for these situations.

Yes, they are sending a replacement with my next order. They were always good for that.

I used to own the French Jackie Brown steelbook which had a high gloss finish and storing it in a protective sleeve left similar marks. I managed to buff the marks out with a soft cloth but it took some effort and patience.
There was clearly an issue with the contact of the steelbook with the sleeve. I have never experienced this issue with any other high gloss steelbooks so don't know if your issue is along the same lines...
