Have no issue with the cover other than that stupid black space at the top, which looks awful!

Maybe pass simply because of that alone, it just looks out of place! As though it was a mis print!

This film, deserves a great steelbook, period! This unfortunately looks half finished!

Love the image though.... such a shame!

Any chance Zavvi can re work the art to remove that horrid space at the top?!

They just changed Sixth Sense, come on! Get it done whoever you are!!

Nowt wrong with artwork in general just a huge chunk missing artwork at the front is really tacky!

Maybe we can give it a try? I just made this in Photoshop and I thought maybe one of you guys could write zavvi an email and ask them nicely if they could use this image for the artwork to get rid of that black border? Do you think this would work?

I'd do it on my own but my english isn't perfect and I can image that they are very sensitive, as everybody is, when it comes to criticize their work.

Here's the artwork in a very good quality and resolution (2000x3000).

And here's a link to my dropbox folder with the source images and the .psd file in it...

If nobody wants to do this I'll try my best but please let us know if someone has already written the mail...

EDIT: Just noticed that the image on zavvi and the image here in this thread is not the same. So maybe there's a little chance that it isn't final...

EDIT2: zavvi itself present different versions of the artwork. The one in 3D which seems like it's printed on a real steelbook is different than the second close-up front image.

I love this film and had hoped for a steel but based on this artwork I don't think i'll be buying it. Would be nice to see them change their mind like they have with the sixth sense.
I know its all personal taste but this front image doesn't match with the tone of the film for me, then again the original artwork with the floating heads wasn't great, but is better than this - and whats with the whole 'jazz hands' thing they got going on?!

I cannot explain how much I echo our sentiments!

it just doesn't feel like the same movie. Don't get me wrong I like the whole Jazz hands mixed with Hitchcock thing.. but then the blank space at the top kills it for me.

:scat: :ordered: Goonies + Sixth Sense + Prestige using ZVC40 (£4 off £40), (twice :naughty:)

price per steelbook is exactly £13.99 (shipped).

(£40.97 + £0.99 = £41.96 / 3 = £13.99)

also, if you use JUNZ50 (£5 off £50), price per steelbook still comes to exactly £13.99 (shipped).

(£54.96 + £0.99 = £55.95 / 4 = £13.99)
