If you think about it, it does make sense. When the film was released back in 2006, Batman Begins was the biggest film Christopher Nolan had done to date. It was probably agreed that home media releases would state 'From the Director of Batman Begins'. If you look at the amaray covers from around the World, the majority do have this line printed on the cover.

I really hope the studios can see that steelbooks are a collectors' item and their artwork and design should be unique and special. The title should really be the only words on the front cover.

But then the studios may think we should be grateful for them not printing "2 thumbs up! Best movie of 20XX!" on steelbook covers...

Wow, I'll take The Prestige as shown over that T2 Steelbook anytime. I think I am starting to understand why there is a need for a slipcover in a Steelbook.

I think one of the member on the forum contacted Zavvi and asked if it's possible to remove that black banner and those words and Zavvi got back saying the studio has a contract in place requiring the words "From the Director of Batman Begins" on the front cover.

Lol, I hadent. This Is one I didn't cancel. Like most people I have canceled so many now and going to wait for price drops and pictures. Looking forward to this one tho and still hoping they do something with that top banner. Can't see it happening tho. Depending on what it looks like in hand will depend wether it gets sent back or not

I don't have this in my collection yet. May get it if it looks nice. Haven't received any Zavvi steels since Aladdin. Cancelled all orders and became more selective. Nothing since has really caught my attention besides Pain and Gain, Olympus has Fallen & this probably. Nothing on pre order till we get an unveiling.

I have two of these on order with From Dusk Till Dawn. Really only want one of these now since so many other releases are coming out, but I'm afraid Zavvi will go ahead and cancel From Dusk Till Dawn, so I guess I'll keep the extra one of these. Better safe than sorry.

This and From Dusk Till Dawn are the only pre-orders I've kept because I love the films.

Nolan directing Wolverine vs Batman with a little Bowie thrown in is always a winner for me.
