My only question is.... I hope there is english audio in this steelbook:rolleyes:

  • Limited Edition Steelbook Artwork: Based on designs by award winning comic book artist Mark Simpson AKA Jock.
  • The Raid feature - original language with English subs
  • The Raid feature with English dub
  • Featuring U.S. and original UNCUT version.
  • Trailers
  • Directors commentary
  • Video Blogs
  • Claycat's The Raid
  • Featurette
  • Behind the Music with Mike Shinoda and Joe Trapanese
  • An Evening with Gareth Evans, Mike Shinoda and Joe Trapanese
  • Raid Fan film

Interesting choice of art work as this was done by Jock/Mark Simpson for Empire Magazine, because Olly Moss who normally does the alternate posters for the mag was off that month.

I wonder if this will be used for the back art?

Yeah the film is great too, glad it got such a cool steelbook release.

Ive had this preordered since before the artwork was released, Ive not seen the film but hear good things about it..when I first saw it I was unsure - seemed an odd choice of image, just seeing the artwork Id expect a manga style movie or a comic book adaptation, but have to say its growing on me...

I must admit I haven't seen it yet, I don't go a bundle on foreign language films, but I'm gonna give this one a try. Although I loved Nikita and battle Royale! The fight and action sequences in the trailer for The Raid looked awesome.

Dont worry about it being foreign language mate, if memeory serves there were about 100 words spoken in the whole film. It is literaly one big fight apart from some soppy bits at the start.

Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this but the cover art is by a UK artist called Olly Moss, he does some really awesome alternative movie posters. Not keen on this for the cover myself though, is very manga in style which might mislead people into thinking its an anime film, have heard it is an excellent movie though

My mistake, the art is by Mark Simpson (Olly Moss normally does the section of Empire Magazine where he designs his own take on movie posters where I originally saw the image) still worth checking out Olly's work tho

Hi mate the artist info for this was mentioned by Dino at post #125! But it's always good to get information! I actually love this cover as its so different. All people would have to do is read a few reviews to realise this isn't Anime.

I dig this cover bro, this film is wicked and I would've still bought regardless of the final cover art ;)

:hilarious: Love the soppy comment...I reckon the kill count matters in this film EEK!
