old people are so weird about driving.... if you can't drive in traffic then you shouldn't be driving at all. Is she really old enough to be impacted by any kind of trafffic?

We googled the directions and it's a TOTAL of 14 minutes there and back.


We took the map and directions to her and said WTF is wrong with you? so now she says she'll pick her up from the place but she won't take her

She calls today and says she didn't realize that she'd be in traffic at those times and just couldn't take her. We try to explain it's non-refundable and that she should have told us before signing her up. She said that the town is a big place and she asked us to make sure where it was before signing her up even though we told her it was in the same town and she said ok.

Cannot tell you how this will impact family gatherings, but I'll be sure to drop an upper decker in her toilet every f*cking chance I get.

So a minor rant today....

We have had job cuts like many other companies lately which is fine, but it does make the remaining folks more busy. On top of having a pretty cramped day already, I get a few emails that some shmuck in HR has forwarded to the whole site about parking lot repairs. The emails themselves would be fine, IF THEY KNEW HOW TO USE A COMPUTER. They forward the message but don't forward the actual message. Instead, they list it as an attachment so that I have to double click it and wait for adobe to open up just to view the damn thing.

Just forward it people, that way it shows up in the outlook view box:angry: This is 2010, learn how to use a damn computer!!!

It really didn't waste that much of my life but man is it annoying....

that is pretty annoying... people who don't know how to use a computer are pretty annoying in general.. it's the 21st century folks, take a PC course...

I'm surprised people have a job if they don't know anything about computer,yet the work requires working around one..

i'm also surprised to hear what people say on their first PC course..

My day started out fine, but it's starting to go down hill. My phone died, and one of the servers here at work crashed. We'll see what else happens today.
 
Wife has an interview tomorrow for a work at home position... 15% pay boost if she nabs it and she can stay home a few days during the week and take care of the kids.. leaving daddy some spare change! :scat:


Been quizzing her all morning and she's holding up like a champ to my interviewing beat downs so I'm excited for her as she looks like she'll do well!
 
argh, I lost power at 4:45 yesterday and it was still out when I got up for work today. Darth probably knows what I'm talking about....

Both freezers are nearly full and so is my kegerator:angry:
