Ninjas don't give a damn about anything but movies I guess :notworthy:

Today I don't give a damn about movies, just my poor little hamster who seems to be nearing the end. I wish they lived longer. :(

oh, dear. I'm so sorry to hear that.

I have had 2 hamsters, and they were so lively, energetic etc. but it suddely strikes when you note that it just sleeps, hardly eats, and its fur is a mess. I stopped taking them only for reason they live so short life.

now have 2 dogs. they wont live forever either but 10 plus years is good life. love animals. and never bought them. all have been rescue animals.

Yeah I've had 2 hammies and this is my 3rd. Even knowing she's close to 2 years old and you know they won't have much time left, it still does feel so sudden when they start losing their energy and appetite and just wanna sleep all the time.

People tell me the same: you shouldn't get hamsters cause they don't last long enough. It's true of course but that always drives me crazy when people say it because I feel like, even a couple of years of fun with them is really nice and worth having. I haven't let it put me off getting a few - of course right now is the worst part where you feel like maybe the people are right lol. Still it only hurts because you care about them. :)

We have Rabbits , Degus and Chinchilla's . Last year we lost a Degu it was so awful .

The small and Furry's are BIG on personality's .

Thing is why they are with you they are loved and cared for even if time is against you all .

My sister keeps trying to talk me into getting a Degu. :) I'd love a Sugar Glider too I think... although right now I can't really think too much towards getting another pet. Some people can 'replace' them rather quickly to fill the void after losing one but I've never been able to do that. :sorry:

Replace never impossible thire own personality's .

I had hell on explaing to our daughter who was 11 at the time when our rescued Rabbit died I was bereft and lost without her . 5 months I was still a jibbring wreck going out past where her home had been outside the door . Would rather walk round the outside of the house than use that door .
We could give a bunny a good loving home . Went to the RSPCA told us we would need to be inspected as to the size of Rabbit .
5ft by 2 and a half foot wide and high hutch with a 5ft by 5ft open run underneath ramps al the way.
So we baught 2 sisters Lavinder and Thistle . Thistle has an eyesight problem on her perifiral vision some would have rehomed her as she is Thistle by nature .

Degus are great very messy though . We rescued them . We did have 3 2 sisters and an added girl . November to Aprel fight to the death if we had left them together . So when the fighting started split the home in half untill it all calmbed down . Untill the next time . Since we lost Ron the fighting has not been a problem this year .

Chinchilla's are THE BEST . So funny , misschevous friendly hell bent on world domination built on cuteness . We let them run round the lounge they are into everything in a good way . Also age wise unlucky if you losse them before 8 years old . The oldist ever was 22 years old when it died . Kids and Husband are besotted by them . Me I suffer with O.W.C.D Obsessed With Chinchilla Disorder .

Thing is Last Lizard you will know when the time is right for you to give something a mega great home . I try and think of what would have happened if they had not have come to us . Spoilt brats all of ours .

Enjoy the time you have with them and all our love you and your furry's :) .

@Scary Hair I had no idea chinchillas could last that long that's amazing! I've seen them in pet stores and they do look really wild and fun. Perhaps in future I'll look into bringing one home. :watch:

I've had about 8 hours sleep in the past 2 days because I've been intent on keeping my hammie as warm and comfortable as I can. Driving me a little crazy but I can't stand how cold she's been getting. :arghh:

Have you thought of a low wattage heat mat like what they use for Lizards and snakes ? Like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ProRep-He...398967?hash=item2a5195cfb7:g:85sAAOSweW5VPJfx only put part of your Hamsters home on it as it may overheat . We got one for Tyrion as I thought he woulf never look like a real Chinchilla.

Then you can get ones in the uk that you warm in the microwave oven then the heat reilises over 4 to 8 hrs like this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Snugglesa...807240?hash=item3ac1940808:g:9IIAAOSw0QFXCS4Z.

Loads of love your and your Hamsters way :) .

DPD!!! :jacked: :box:(n)
My other half is in hospital at the moment but has ordered an iPad Pro direct from Apple as a 50th present for her sister and arranged to have it delivered to me at work as we thought that best.
I work for a book wholesaler and we get a trailer dropped off and collected daily by DPD so our local depot have put the iPad in the back of an articulated trailer full of boxes & pallets of books. It'll arrive between 6pm & 7pm (I finish at 5.30) and who knows how long it'll take to find amongst the other contents, I've asked the shift manager to keep an eye out and put it somewhere safe until Monday.
Having spoken to DPD customer service via Facebook the depot advised that this is the only way they deliver to this address. Funny then that my iPhone was delivered by a smaller DPD van a couple of weeks ago from the same depot and I was even told that another DPD van had delivered this afternoon. The depot have said it was put with the corporate deliveries, we're a book wholesaler, if it's not a book then chances are it shouldn't be with the corporate deliveries... :banghead::banghead::banghead:
Rant over, just hope it turns up in one piece now.

The capicitors blew in it,getting it fixed tomorrow so at least that means I don't need a new one yet....I've spent near £3500 on two TV's this last three years.

Means I have to go to the pub today to watch the footie....damn!

The Gumball is on in Belfast too so I'll try and catch some of that over in the Titanic Quarter.
