yeah noticed in the BD 50 movie set (UK) that they had to put 5 dvds in and those being 2 of them. Shame cause I have them on blu-ray as in USA they are disney movie club exclusive. Just goes to show you the disconnects as you'd think DIsney US to UK could share.

FANTASTIC!! Love the fact they’re releasing this, and the artwork is beautiful.

Here’s hoping with the recent wave of Disney films that this means films like Oliver & Company and The Black Cauldron finally get releases.

Total pipe dream, but would love to Saludos Amigos, The Three Caballeros, Make Mine Music, Fun and Fancy Free, Melody Time and Ichabod & Mr Toad make their way one day too. Unfortunately, as most of those aren’t even available via blu ray, can’t see it happening soon. Would love to see a complete Disney collection on steelbook.

Agreed I hope the release date is further into November
Like the Amaray release it has the Rescuers on the disc so I guess it is a repress of the US release

Yes, true, but you may recall two of the six you noted were released towards the end of 2015 here in the UK . . . not as separates though but bundled in one release:-

With a standalone steelbook for THE RESCUERS DOWN UNDER announced (or as the French cutely title it BERNARD AND BIANCA IN THE LAND OF THE KANGAROOS) - unlike w/ the Amaray release where both RESCUERS adventures were bundled together inside a single Amaray . . .

. . . maybe a chance for standalone not bundled steelbook releases for the other four from the early years of the Disney collection . . . if only to please the completists:-

As for the missing five on Blu-ray (*Amaray / **steelbook) best way to spot them is by using the Amazon list set out for the newly announced BD & DVD collections.

Pretty much the same. I started (properly) collecting around the time nemo, Aladdin and roger rabbit came out. Got them all on the bay for really good prices and I think my first pre orders were jungle book and little mermaid. Haven’t stopped since. Same with live action, Pixar, Star Wars and marvel. Like you said, One hell of a Disney collection
