can someone explain the whole FAC "numbering"/waiting list process for me?
how can one get a number, and if I dont have a number (which i'm assuming guarantees you a copy?), is there a chance I can still buy from FAC directly? or in this case with the 1000 print run with The Revenant, would be be best to join a groupbuy?

God I really hope that FA doesn't follow their recent pattern - create two versions of the slip cover and a hard box release. That would make it super hard to obtain any version, as only those with a number below 400 would even have a chance of getting one through the FA website (not to mention how crazy the GB would be).

You can request a number through the FA website, although at this point, your number would probably be 5,000 (maybe an exaggeration, but there's no way it's below 2,000, given how many customers they have now). Your best bet is a GB as the only other way to get one on the FA website is to get on their wait list, which guarantees nothing.

Yes, always higher than the current rate. Whatever the currency. Paypal = thief. But very practical.

But there are 2 options for conversion on PayPal you can use PayPals exchange or your bank can do it. I use that other option and with bigger sums difference is really noticable.
