Not what I was expecting for the fullslip it's too dark in tone the finish/texture is wrong it should've been fully glossed with the flames and title embossed. The embossed bushes looks like a bunch of just random dots. Very disappointing!!

The filmarena version sells pretty cheap on ebay so i guess this movie will not be a huge hit for the steel fans. Some sell like crazies (The martian or the last stand) and some don't. Sad because the movie deserve it. But cool for those who may have missed it on pre orders.

At first it looks a little bit too much finish. But after seeing the pictures in large it is very nice indeed.
The regular FS was my favorite from the beginning but I passed on all till now. Maybe when it's still in stock next month I bite

$70 seems to be the going rate for the Revenant FAC. If you consider that pretty cheap, kudos to you.
You failed to note that The Last Stand had a print run of only 500 and The Martian was 1000. The Revenant has a print run of twice that much. Much of price when it comes to the third party market is print run. It's supply and demand.

Meh, that full slip does nothing for me.

Sure, it has all this fancy technology used on there. But it doesn't mount to much when the artwork itself is boring as hell. Just sky and landscape.

Looking forward to seeing what the leather slip looks like in hand.......

Hmm I'm honestly not too sure how I feel about the slip... I think that type of treatment was unnecessary for this, and embossing the shadows in the mountains seems really random to me. The colours look quite dark too, but maybe it'll look brighter in hand. I certainly don't hate it anyway, but I don't exactly love it at the moment either. Still, I'm very much looking forward to receiving my copy! Can't wait to see photos of the steelbook.
