With the director, and the star, I would have expected this to be a good (yet unnecessary) flick. Reviews (critics and viewers) have it as a total dumpster fire though.

Same but hopefully this makes them slightly less determined to keep going back for remakes.

The original is far from a perfect film but the performance of the actors in it was so memorable and practically oozing charm, a bland meandering remake is almost criminal.

Must say I was surprised when Wright signed on to do it... thought he'd know better than to remake classic action movies. Even the trailers for it haven't really excited me tbh.

I thought the same, but it still gave me hope, it was like "If Edgar has signed on then the guy must have a plan"

The trailers make it seem like a watch but it just feels like it's missing his signature flair found in his other movies

I was looking forward to this as the trailer was pretty good but I have to admit I was disappointed. There were plenty of good bits in it but it reminds me of Total Recall and in some ways Robocop, the remakes look great but are lacking soul & other characters to care about.
Whilst this maybe more faithful to the book I enjoyed Arni’s a lot more, lots of cool characters to get killed and Arnold just makes it better.

How can someone leaping out of a window look so unnatural ?
Because it's a cheap nasty composite, nothing other than his face is real.

The weird motion blur on the bottom but not the top, the fake broken glass and the blurry cityscape but I suppose we should be grateful they reduced the number of stupid helicopters in the final artwork. Oh and the framing is too low to accomodate a J card, this design is a real winner.

Massive bomb at the box office, did anyone here like this movie?
Was bad as crap, even seen in IMAX didn't helped... so many childish scenes and realization... from this movie perspective, Predator Badlands is a little masterpiece (that one was not great either, but was quite in the line of the idea of a predator species, so could not expect great subject or script; not to get me wrong, I liked Predator Badlands quite a bit, but clearly went to see it with my mind set for such subject)

... too bad for Glen Powell, cause I really like him... as it is the case with Rachel Zegler and Snow White, so sorry for her... she has a GREAT voice... at least in West Side Story...

They just moved them to the back...

Read that as "Was bad as$!"

I don't like musicals (except for Chicago), so I liked her singing in the 5th Hunger Games, the first prequel.

Naaah.... no way this is a „bad as$”, still a CRAP movie (I'm sure that if you watched it, you agree there are SEVERAL parts that are simply childish).

If you didn't watched West Side Story, I think you should, or at least the parts where she sings, because is BETTER than the singing in the Hunger Games (BTW, I did also liked her in that too).
