Don't forget the hammer for the embossing and some paint ...

With the glowing red eye the play steelbook looks much better than this, even the matte finish and the printed image seem to be of higher quality ...

The inside artwork on the play.com SB looks dull as it doesn't shine through the plastic like most of the Steels do.

The finish on the cover of this version does seem pretty sub-standard. Hopefully the JP finish is of a higher standard

I wish the finish was better, looks really dull. Feel like cancelling now. Doubt the Japanese one will be any better, it's too expensive anyway.

It looks dull like the play.com release as the finish is matte and not glossy.

I do not care about the negative opinions about this German release. I'm looking forward having it in my collection soon next to the other three steelbooks. Anyway I will print some custom inside art for this here and then I will be more than glad.

Can't fix the dull front and back though... That looks like the cheapest paint option available to me, looks extremely thin. The play one is a much nicer matte and has shiny/metallic parts to it (eye, gun, etc).

Sorry mate. I expect the paint finish to be identical especially on the back as it looks exactly the same.

Decided to cancel this, will keep the French one and get the Japanese steelbook to go with the Taiwanese & Play.com ones

Anybody know yet if this will be region free? I was waiting to find out, but I noticed the UK one is apparently region free, so I'm hoping this is as well.
