Of course it will sell out. But half the people buying the boxset will be doing it reluctantly and not because they love the boxset. Just shameful money grabbing. How low the once mighty HDZETA have fallen.
This is ZBOX-level BS. If I don't get the individual one I want I'm not going to buy the box set with three copies of the same steelbook of the same film. Seriously, 500 of each for the box set??? Leaving hundreds less of the lenti for "real" sale? And you can't even buy the 1/4 slip unless you buy all three! I will not be upset if I miss out because I'm not a fan of this business practice.
It's going to be really tough getting a lenti now. Maybe they can lower the box sets a little to accommodate more single versions.
I agree with U all about the quantity allocation for the boxset and lack of individual 1/4 slips etc but I think this time it kinda works for me as I tend to get all variants (esp the 1/4 slips) and unlike Interstellar/SPR where one had to buy both the boxset and then 1/4 slips (which again is good for most I guess) it does kinda bring the price up for those who wants everything (shipping etc)... so really there is no right or wrong here, HDZ are trying to please all type of collectors but looks like they will never succeed fully as we are all different in how we collect and like things!!! just my 2 cents!

Only problem I see is, people will buy the boxset and sell the individual editions at absurd prices. For example, let's say the boxset goes for $100. And if the 1/4 ends up being the most sought after, then I'm sure they will sell the 1/4 slip alone for $100.
Like you said, no one is forcing anyone here. You can't blame the retailer here either. It's just that we are learning one more thing about the retailer. It seems they don't have the collectors best interest.
But hey, they are including the WWA T1 steelbook as a free gift to all the triple boxset buyers.
Which means, you're getting 4 steelbooks for the price of 3. With such a deal, why wouldn't you want the boxset, right?
On another note, I wonder what the 1/4 slip will be priced?

We will try subtract some fullslip version and add it to 1/4slip for the 1/4 buyer,not 100% comfirmed.

Cancel the 1/4 slip for separate sales not the final deicde.
But boxset 500 copies and free gift WWA steelbook case was not changed.
Have you considered going for the 3000 copies option? I'm sure they'd sell out easily anyway plus that way there will be a much more reasonable amount of each variant without taking them away from the box set. @wxlinkswd
