The back is not that bad, the front looks like someone printed a photo from a cheap home £29 printer. It might be a 3D image that didn't picture well and will look much better on the actual steelbook.

Nope, Play.com steelbook is still my favourite - might bite if Arrow released an original poster art steelbook like they are with Robocop (not that Arrow have rights to release The Terminator of course)

Yes, looks like similar image has only been used previously for DVD covers ...

Where have I seen that front art before? And I'm not trying to be funny by hinting "down the toilet" or anything like that either lol.

I'm sure I've seen it as a poster or something and actually didn't mind it in that format... but yeah, it doesn't work so well on a steel.

each to their own, and it's nice that some people can get this who may have missed out before. i just don't know how they can have missed out on a Terminator steel before. who is this aimed at?

releases like this seem to strangely sap me of my enthusiasm for special edition physical media.
- 'kids, i'm old enough to remember when a steelbook releases meant that you would have a high quality artwork, glossy surface, and bossing as standard.'
- 'yeah, gramps, whatever.'

yeah, i know.

Releases like this must be aimed mainly for people who have to have every edition of the movie. If it wasn't for people like them, I doubt this would be made as I don't think it would sell well at all
