They changed their tune after ensuring me I would be charged the current price of £14.99 despite ordering with the discount code for £18.99.
In the case that Zavvi contradict themselves, I cancelled my order.
In my experience they won't honour it. When I ordered Wall-E the price dropped from £25 to £20 shortly after it went live. I asked them to refund the difference and they flatly denied it had ever happened, even when I told them the exact date. Not pleasant to deal with.I managed to nab one at the £14.99 price point when they came back up for order last week, zavvi quickly changed the price back upto £19.99, which I though was very poor.
How does the 'Price Promise' work with zavvi anyway?, if the price is £19.99 come release day will they still refund the difference as this WAS a lower price between orders taken and release date. Zavvi are most definitely NOT Amazon when it comes to abiding by such a promise.
That's some poor customer service, if Amazon can do it automatically, then surely zavvi can do it......ah hold on, it's zavvi...so yeah, I'm with you, zavvi will fight to the death to avoid a couple of £'s being refunded.....In my experience they won't honour it. So many cancelled, I too decided to go for the FA option. Zavvi need to up their game with their steelbook customers. Why no phone line to speak to someone in the event of problems which seem prevelent with many customers?
