well i think I'll probably still get this anyway but does seem to be a strange choice of cover.

Well...I do not really like our German steelbook, the artwork is the same as the amaray version from many years ago. I am very curious about the UK steelbook, wanna have something different to the German edition...hope to see the final cover soon for my final decision.
I do not understand our German supply translating particular titles as the new version is also called THE THING. Universal Germany even added some more words to the '82 Version like "THE THING FROM ANOTHER WORLD" - don't know why. Let's just keep it simple: everybody decides on their own which version to take - you take the version from abroad and I will do it as well (I guess) 
I want this!!! I don't think the cover looks that bad! I definitely need this but live in the U.S. I do not understand why I have to have to have 30 or greater posts to get into a group buy? I need this for my collection. Help!!!

Gela-sadly there are spammers and scammers that post a handful of times, and then do all they can to rip off members. The 30 posts is a way to weed some of those people out who have no interest in becoming regular members of the site. And if you run into trouble beyond that, the staff and mods here are actively involved in helping to welcome members and assist with disputes. Welcome to the site-we hope you stay and become part of the HDN community.
I really am hoping this is not the final artwork.... It's poor as hell! Where's Berns when we need him? I'm sure he could whip us some ultra cool designs that would put this to shame!
I really want to have this either way, but it still is not up for pre-order! strange seeing as though many of the others are!

Yeah, but I said that before they had updated the artwork with the weird green faces. I mean, it looks like The Thing got a hold of the Hulk and went crazy.

Even changing the colour would improve it somewhat. Ice white or pale blue instead of Hulk Green.
