It's always possible that they have changed their mind since most members were not thrilled about Horizontal Steels. But all we can do is wait for confirmation:)

LOL, Man-for me personally I hope they don't go with an image similar to the poster art itself, but maybe a bit different. I was not a fan of the Green 'Basketcase' looking art either. I think we're in a unique situation where feedback is being considered (normally studios release what they want and that's that), so we'll have to wait and see what they decide.

I totally get you, but for me I always love the iconic posters of Drew Struzan, so the placeholder art is perfect for me - especially if they bling it out and deboss it like they did with the French 2012 edition. They would look perfect side by side then! :D

And if the studios are listening please release John Carpenters other work in Steelbook format! Big Trouble in Little China and Escape from New York are the top two for me!

Hey guys-we've been told by a direct source that the 'Vertical' new art (poster) was a place holder added by the content staff. Unless there is some last minute change (on the studio's part), the titles in this wave will be horizontal per the art posted. Feedback regarding this 'The Thing' was passed on to the studio, but they have not changed their mind as of today.

Now available to order, 6th of august release date. Still stock artwork

Looks like they may have split these last six up. If you sort by release date, I think you can work out which steels will be released when i.e. 3 on August 6th (Pitch Black, Hot Fuzz, The Thing) and 3 on September 3rd (Children of Men, Carlito's Way, Shaun of the Dead). I don't know where the new titles fit in although it seems like they may be split across the same dates looking at Play's website.
