I was away for the winter break.. came back home and read that this was out. Went to my local futureshop and nothing.. about a week later, went to a futureshop about 20 min away and to my surprise they had one left! Now if I could only find Salt..

just a heads up, the salt is the same world-wide so you could always import if the deal is right.

i mostly buy the normal plastic case movie and save the steelbook...i'm crazy.

would you not be further ahead by buying two steelbooks, and opening one. There is still more value in an open steelbook than an open amaray

I haven't seen the movie so no spoilers please, but why is this steel in such high demand?

The back is nice but the front could definitely have used some work, or am I talking outta my ass on this one? I guess my personal preference is to not see ridiculous floating bodies and heads on steels like they cram it for amarays or posters.

There could be a better way to present floating bodies and heads but this seems typical.

This is just my opinion so the mileage may differ with other people, but I think it's because this movie was pretty darn good. All the actors delivered top notch performances. Also considering that I have yet to see another Steelbook for this movie, that might also contribute into the demand for this movie.

It is a great movie, but so is Inception and that is probably less desirable than this. The reason being is it was released all over the world, while The Town steelbook was only available in Canada. Exclusivity.

I'm still pretty amazed that no other country has jumped on this bandwagon, I hope they don't. We need another "rare" steelie in our hobby. Even if it only lasts for a few years ;p
