maybe this has been answered but ill ask again cause im confused. Why is the regular release Aug 25th when the mcfarlane special edition is Dec. 1st ???

reveal took longer for the special edition i guess they delayed it until december so gives people a chance to find out about it

that is the stupidest thing i've ever heard lol...i loved how every prior season release, we're able to pick it up, re-watch it first and then proceed to the following season premier. ya, im not made of money so i dont want to buy the season more than once. I have all the other mcfarlane releases so i guess this just means we have to wait. Really disappointed... dec makes no sense, unless their aiming for this to be christmas presents ??? lol

I think it took longer to plan, so they need time to make them and there was no way it was going to be ready in time. I'm sure if they could they they would have it out the same time, cause it's only going to hurt them for the people that can't/don't want to wait so they get a different one.

I won't double dip, I'll wait. I'm mostly sad cause I have a tradition of watching the last season before the new one airs, with the commentary on. I guess I'll watch it without it online or Netflix or something. But I'm not happy about it lol. I did that with every tv show I buy on blu. So eh. IDK what took them so long. Maybe @spawnshop could shed some light on it.

@Kinkoman i agree, its probably production issues and not something their doing on purpose to piss people off lol. But im the same way, its tradition every year to watch it on blu before the new season comes out
