The Wolverine (3D+2D Blu-ray SteelBook) (HMV Exclusive) [UK]

lots of debate about website but i would say it doesnt look likely. i would suggest doing a re-order, think they reserve it for you or pop in to them on the day or so before it is released and ask nicely if they can hold one for you to collect later.

Thanks mate

Maybe it will have exclusive artwork since the Czech & Italian versions appear to have silver claws, whilst they look black on this one. :dunno:

They look silver on the HMV website...

There is a strong possibility that the french one will look the same but I like to keep my commitments and i'm very happy to keep my preorder on your Group David! Let's hope it has franch audio :)

I went to pre-order in Trafford yesterday and they wanted full payment in advance for 4 copies (£140), still without being able to confirm a release date. I went on to Manchester town who let me order with just a fiver deposit. The bloke also said that the website 'should' be back up before this is released.

4 copies wouldn't be £140 as its only £18.99 per copy-

It's strange that different staff can tell you different things. I went into the Trafford Centre branch last week and placed a £10 deposit for two copies!

I ordered from canary wharf with 0 deposit!

canary wharf told me its 32 or 33 (can't remember which) - but that was their 'provisional' price as they didnt really have any details other than the artwork

This is the reason I went into the group buy. So many different stories from HMV stores and how much of a deposit these stores want from zero to full price!! It works out cheaper for me to do the group buy as by the time I've paid for petrol and parking to get to my nearest HMV store twice (once for to pay deposit and again to collect and pay balance) I could have got 2 lol!!!!!
I've not been on here a long time, but taken part in 2 group buys, and they work out great due mostly to the time and effort the people put in. So, group buy for me.

When I went into pre-order the other week I wasn't asked for a deposit. Which I was somewhat suprised so I even asked if I had to put down a deposit, and was told no.

I wouled expect the price to come down to no more than £24.99, buy the time it hits the shelves.
