I am going to try and buy this steelbook from hmv on the 18th november and im geting 2 copies cus there rare ...

called my local store-they are getting 125-150 copies in with only 15 or so pre booked-but the staff member did say that purchases are at the stores discretion-i.e don't turn up thinking you can snaffle 5 or more copies-they may not let you

hopefully this will mean everyone who wants a copy can get one and that some of the ebay trolls will be left up shite creek sans paddle...if your local store is getting a handful of copies it may be worth making the trip this weekend and paying the deposit to secure a copy

They had about 10 or these, priced at 39.99 euro.

Picked it up today but I would've much preferred a paper white look to the steel to match the ink painting instead of this pearlish silver but it still is a really nice steelbook in general.

Irish here as well. Would have picked this up but when I seen €39.99... F**k that. The silver finish is awful in my opinion and it looks worse than The Place Beyond the Pines.

I know the silver/steel look is hard to convey in images but in this case they really indicated a white paper background to match the art.

I honestly cannot get my head around the atrocious price. Its approx. £10.50 more than the UK price.

I expected it to be 25 - 27 Euro. 40 euro is scandalous, I think the amaray was 23 euro!

They had After Earth & Stone Roses Steels for 25 euro

Yeah from the pics I've seen so far it doesn't look quite like the bare silver finish found on Place Beyond The Pines (which I thought was a beautiful steelbook actually) or Wall-E for instance, especially considering the claws are a different colour. I'm thinking maybe a beige brushed steel similar to District 9 Japan.

'Good Day' was available in Germany, Czech etc....just like Wolverine 3D will be available in France, Italy etc...

Trust me, these will be around a while. Only difference will be the J cards.

J Card Makes a BIG difference. UK version = Highly sought after and more valuable. Especially if it's hard to get. The fact the same box is used makes little difference.

Example, Underworld Awakening US goes for double the price the European versions do just because of the J Card, as it's basically the same.

HMV lost money on recent Steels "Printing too many" so this next batch are in far less numbers.
