I'm sorry but the word 'limited' without mentioning a specific number is meaningless when it comes to Steelbooks. Proof? See below. Before anyone says, it isn't just Zavvi that list it as limited edition, so do Amazon and Sainsbury's.

If VAT is included then they can only charge handling fees which I believe is ridiculous.

Mine came from wowhd. Stuck in royal mail at mo...customs charge!!!....only one im waiting for so i guess this is it.i had a wowhd film come from hongkong once

Tinker Tailor divided audiences pretty heavily though. Almost everyone I've asked has told me to steer clear of it unless I want to die of boredom. Just because they can't shift copies of a film no-one wants doesn't make it any less of a limited edition.
The only conclusion that can be drawn is that the print run was huge yet it is described as limited. Nearly all Steelbooks are described as limited, it's just a stupid marketing term with no meaning unless you attach a number to it.

I was a bit unimpressed with this SteelBook to be honest. I initially assumed that the sign part would be embossed, as the design lends itself for such a feature, but turns out that the end result is just another boring flat SteelBook. I was also disappointed with the finish as well, and expected something a little more glossy![]()
"More glossy?" What does that even mean?
More Glossy......get the pledge out![]()
sold out or not, this won't keep its value.
Paul sold out, then price soared, the dropped again. now it can be had for lower than the retail on the bay all the time.
scott pilgrim - same story.
you can be sure it will get steelbook releases elsewhere in the world - and probably a uk reprint at some point, maybe a horizontal to match the other pegg films.
I think the sheer number of uk steels this year has killed the game.
it has lead to the quality dropping significantly, and we are all bored with the disappointment every week.
id be happy with one steelbook release every week or 2 weeks, with a bit of quality control and imagination.
not the current trend of 20 or so a month. I cut right back on pre-orders, and still seem to get 2 or 3 steels a week.
I cant afford to keep up, and id rather just stick to blufans and kimchi releases to build a bit of anticipation and excitement.
fair enough, this one is a nice steel, well made, but still with quality control issues.
and it was overpriced.
