I understand this, and it makes sense. However, It was showing as "in-stock" for most of the duration that it was actually in-stock. Using my normal browser, it was still showing "out of stock" for the first few minutes that folks were seeing it as in-stock. Then it switched to "in-stock"... then "out-of-stock" while most were seeing it as "in-stock" still. If this was a cookie problem... then I don't understand why I still saw the changes (just at different times from most)???

Sorry if I wasn't explaining anything correctly. Just trying to let folks know my experience with the stock issue so they can get their orders in. Might not work for everyone, but certainly worked for me so thought it was worth sharing.

Decided to try and cancel this soon after ordering but looks like it's going to be dispatched. Will take a look when it arrives but if I'm not bothered I would be offering to sell this on at face value + P&P as it seems to be too late to cancel now, if anyone missed out. Of course I won't unwrap it unless I decide to keep it. Will post on here if I do decide to sell it and set up an appropriate thread/post in the sellers forum.

Yes you can't cancel Zavvi orders if the item is in stock. Even if you attempt to cancel seconds after placing the order, it will still be refused.

I guess I stand corrected. In my experience it has let me request cancellation but I have received the email a few hours later saying it couldn't be cancelled.

They deny a cancellation if the person that "cancels orders" in the system doesn't get to it before the person that "prepares it for shipment" gets to it first. At least thats my logical reasoning. Happened to me once too.

i dont think this will happen. this is not on pre-order anymore, all pre-orders were shipped today and the remainder went back up for sale. i don't see many chances for this to re-appear big time again.
