Quite like the look of this one but the others are an easy pass. May consider it if it comes down in price as fairly happy with the Zavvi one

I do like the artwork and I'm a big Carpenter fan but I already have these releases so it's a pass from me unless there's a big price drop at some point.

This is probably the best one for artwork of the three but prefer their alternative cover artwork on the slip release, also prefer the UK release with the memorable movie poster, which I own already.

Thinking about it more I'm not sure about these releases, not sure why they have such lazy inside artwork, I guess this one will have the same style inside, I have all the slip cover versions already so not sure at the moment but of course they may well sell out.

It would be really cool if there were some special glasses that came with this release that revealed all the subliminal messages, but otherwise they just looked like billboards.

I don't think Amazon packaging from the US would be very good. They usually just throw them inside an oversized box and they move around.

Depends on what carrier/courier they use on the day
EU Countries is now Amazon Global Standard Shipping and they use a courier with tracking
Most times it's i-Parcel but can vary as in UPS or other Carrier/Couriers
Some orders can be brilliant packaging and some a jiffy bag

Steelbooks not had any problems with my previous orders in last year
Sent in a Cardboard Box with padding

Standard Blu-ray can be sent in a padded jiffy bag sometimes but I gave out last year and they sent all my recent orders in good packaging

Delivery can be very fast sometimes 2 days to 7 days or 2 weeks all depends on what courier they use

It's depends on what carrier they use on the day if they use UPS you can expect fast shipping as in 2-3 days

Depends also on how regular you been ordering from amazon and if you made any complaints about packaging and if they had to re send your orders a few times

Last Year I had lot of orders that had to be resent but so far this year not had any problems for me anyway as they so far have made sure parcels arrive in good condition

At least it's a box. Last time I ordered 3 steelbooks from Best Buy they threw them in an unpadded large envelope so they could rattle around to rival the best maracas. Needless to say, all three were damaged and returned.

I got home to find 3 giant long boxes on top of the building's mailbox. It confused the hell out of me. When I opened the first box it was They Live along with a poster in an actual poster tube. So, while these may not be the greatest steelbooks, at least Scream Factory stopped sending folded posters. I like all three though. I have never watched Escape from New York. May have to give it play now.

Shout Factory own exclusive releases don't come with digital copies and is normal not to include one

Shout do the video encoding and extras it's not like a film studio distributor release you get from universal or paramount or Sony etc

I mean these are extremely cool, but I am a digital guy. If it weren't for my love of steelbooks I would buy zero physical media.
