They're also yet to produce a film that I'm even remotely interested in.

Just saying.

You're not remotely interested in these films?

I Saw the Devil
The Wrestler
Blue Is the Warmest Color
Melancholia
The Master

You're missing out on some great films then. I love that they pick films that other steelbook companies usually avoid because they're not popular enough or whatever. Personally I'd rather watch films like that than the umpteenth Marvel blockbuster (and I own and enjoyed Thor).

I am afraid I have to agree with @CasuallyDressed. The only film I have any interest in is ISTD but even that one has zero replay value for me. (once you have watched it there is absolutely no surprise or suspense left) If it has no replay value then it's a pass for me as I open and watch (many times) the movie in every steelbook.
Just saying.

I'm the exact opposite. While I'm entertained by Marvel films they have no replay value for me, but I've seen I Saw the Devil three times :wow:

I feel exactly the same, except I can rewatch ISTD. My honest opinion is that the rest are utter turds, albeit, nicely packaged ones.

I've seen Melancholia. Didn't really enjoy it. Which is a shame because the idea put forward in the trailer really interested me.

Not bothered about the other 4.

I would probably just say that PA is for a different breed of film lover.

Utter turds! That's a bit harsh, but hey, that's your opinion. I think most people would disagree though:

The Wrestler (RT 98% 8.4, Metacritic 81, IMDb 7.9)
Blue Is the Warmest Color (RT 91% 8.2, Metacritic 88, IMDb 7.9)
Melancholia (RT 78% 7.4, Metacritic 80, IMDb 7.1)
The Master (RT 85% 8.1, Metacritic 86, IMDb 7.1)

I respect the fact that you like those movies but critics don't represent most people. If most people liked them then they would have been more popular!

Some of these are overrate, just like Hunger Games RT 84% 8.1, IMDb 7.3. It tries to bring all types of movie genre into one package action+drama+scifi, but to me after spending 90 mins+, this movie isn't any genre. the action is poorly set up, drama elements are poorly acted (the actors, actresses are inexperience), scifi doesn't make sense at all. It worth the score of 20% IMO. Those are that below 50% RT maybe better movies, so don't trust the critics seriously
