Everyone had different opinions and taste world would be boring without it I got abuse when I said I preferred blufans releases of films over kimchis because at the time they were on a run of films like perfume, Amelie, sunshine of spotless mind, pianist all of which I have no interest in I probably branded them wrongly as arty farty movies but for me I'd take the big blockbuster brainless films any day

If they change the look of the steelbook I'd suggest:

1. Full gloss (at least spot gloss)
2. Thinner border
3. Embossed Mjolnir! (Would be so awesome)

Last word from Kevin is that they were working on Border and embossing issue and a better Finish but Kevin Stated that he would be happy with a Matte Finish

Even though I love the glossy finish, I can live with a matte. I just completely hate the the border issue. Here are some progess reports to you guys. The release will have to remanufacture with a correct size border and improved finish...

I tend to agree. Matte black just doesn't work most of the time.

If this is deffo going to be matt then I will cancel my order. This steelbook demands a premium gloss finish, anything else would be down right disrespectful.

It just comes down to communication - Kevin has always acted as a single point of contact/information from blufans and constantly keeps people informed of whats happening.

Zavvi don't bother to do this and it's been to their detriment. They just drip feed information, which is quite often incorrect.

I'm keeping my order in for this even if it turns out to be Matte.

Really?? ive had 8 steelbooks from BF and 4 have had Damages/Defects, there quality control is poor as there issues are there before packing and sending out aso they have complete control of this!

Look at there recent issues with Wall E and Thor, they are having to re print!!

Those issues are purely down to the muppets at Scanavos Shanghai and Hong Kong facilities. They are not only totally incompetent, they refuse to accept that they fu.cked up. Why do you think one of the head honchos from their Danish HQ got involved. From 6 years living in S.E. Asia I have witnessed first hand that businesses would much rather shun their customers than admit they screwed up. Customer care means diddly squat. That is why I commend BF for really trying to get issues resolved.

As i said I'm talking from personal experiences with the steelbooks i have purchased from Blufans.

This is how bad things are for me, i have just sold Olaf edition of Frozen because i am scarred that i would be disappointed with the finish or any imperfections may have due to past experiences, i know this is extreme but i'm an ocd collector and i have lost count of the amount ive spend getting a perfect copy of a BF steelbook, this is one of the nicest steelbooks of the year too.

You may have been extremely unlucky to not find a perfect copy of Blufans steelbook. I have bought BF steelbooks via all channels. Trading forum on HDN, BR, ebay, from Kevin and yet to receive a not perfect copy. I open all my steels so I know they are flawless.
