Your most despised finishing - full matte. Front is nice though. And the lenticular is amazing sharp. I see it more a mug shot of Chris Hemsworth than Thor. I also have CA2 lenti and this is much better than that. Although I think CA2 lenti is not as good as CA1 lenti.

You need to remember to NOT gloss the front

Things that I already know for a long time ago now...
1. The lenti is red with Hemsworth face on it
2.The back is flat finish/no spot gloss
3. @Gadget avoided this one ...Lol!

That's unusual isn't it ,are there others with a 50/50 finish like that ? Would have thought it was easier to gloss the entire steelbook

Who? I don't see any posts stating that. There are a lot of people with their own views on how they think the release looks.

Personally, I like it but not one of my best in my steelbook collection. But I don't think much to the WWA Thor 1 either.

And who determines what steelbook is a grail? The outdated and opinionated list that was created a few years ago?

The print number of the steelbook that will determine what is grail and really there's nothing wrong with the looks of Thor BF, its a great looking steelbook. The original also has awesome matte finish so I think this one is definitely going to be a new GRAIL as well

People use grail so much it has lost its meaning the print run of this means it shouldn't be considered a Grail IMO.

Grail = Looks nice now.
