I just bought a Thor Steelbook from Portugal... Does anyone know if this plays Region A? It shows Region A-C not tested.. just checking! Thanks guys:ohno:

I've just replied saying I do not want to change my order and that I want a full refund.

by the way thanks guys for posting here because for some reason gmail is treating these fnac emails as spam so I never know when they arrive.
 
Yeah, I too got the blah blah email stuck in the SPAM filter...Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained type try...

Anybody got theirs shipped?
 
I got another delay email from Fnac. I don't have chrome at work but if i copy it into google translate it reads:

We regret that we have not yet been possible to send your order. Although we are all efforts to date have not received the article (s) (s) had (m) was requested (s) to the supplier.

Therefore, we indicate squeamish remains interested in waiting for the delivery of the item or if you prefer to give up your order by proceeding to annul

'squeamish remains' haha!

Had the same email and also dont have chrome at work so the same bit made me laugh :hilarious:

No refund it does go on to say something about going onto your account and cancelling but without chrome wasnt sure :confused:

Yeah, same email and no refund. I have been replying to the emails sent with no response. I finally clicked on the link in the email at the bottom "Apoio ao Cliente Fnac.pt" and submitted the email though their CS page. I at least know that worked as I got a auto-response from that.

Now, we'll just wait and see.

"You took my money when you had no stock, said you wouldn't take it before dispatch, then kept my money pretending it was in logistics, then tried to blame the supplier, now I have to email you demanding a refund before you're willing to return the money by the looks of things. You're a bunch of clowns and i'm never using fnac again. Unless you have an exclusive that I really want, but i'll still be annoyed about this."

That ought to do it.

I'll second that been on the site trying to work out how to cancel like they said with no joy!! They said no reply in 2 days and the order would be cancelled in the original email but its still on the site and Ive had no refund :angry:

I received a refund finally from them in the end but they short changed me by £10.

I have winged off another email demanding my £10 still waiting for a reply that was 4 days ago.

Worst ever website I have ever dealt with...., never again!
 
I've emailed them through their website effectively demanding my money back in the politest way I could manage. I put the reason down as 'complaint' so hopefully someone will actually read it. I really don't want to have to phone these people up.

How did they respond to your emails? I can't believe they've messed up a straight refund... idiots.

Did everyone get their refunds? I got an email about cancelling my order, but I have yet to get a refund. I've responded to emails and contacted them through the website CS (even google translated some in Portuguese). I'm not getting a response and getting really :angry: about this all. If they give me a partial refund like gbdragon, I will explode.
