Yep, same here, saw one in HMV about a month ago for £25, thought to myself no, it's still too expensive.

Will have a look on Saturday, if there are any, I'll grab a few, and you lot can have them (at face value, of course).

Good luck finding them in store you be lucky to get this new sealed for £50!

why the hell did i choose the 3D version of this film over the steelbook, it's the only one i need to complete my marvel (avengers) collection. i want one my local HMV had a couple in a month after release at £25 and i was like there way to expansive they'll end up in the sale.

Everything is a gamble these days on which will go up in price. I remember seeing a whole load of these Thor steelbooks just sitting so lonely on the shelf at £17.99.......

A dented one of these just went for £50 on ebay. Price has rocketed another 10 in the last week alone. I consider myself very lucky to have snagged one of these a couple of weeks ago from the Amazon marketplace sealed for £40.

yep the Avengers has given this a real boost, if only that movie sucked then I wouldn't feel so bad about walking passed all those Thor steelies lined up on the shelf in hmv. It was £25 in my local store so it's only really doubled in value so far.

Yea, Avengers movie gave it a boost in price.

It is a beautiful looking steel and I'm glad I bought it on hmv.com earlier this year.

I kept watching this go on ebay for around $60-65 a couple months or so ago but got lucky last month and snagged an open/perfectly mint one for $42 shipped! It looks incredible in person. Had I known how good it looked before, I would have gladly paid $60 for it

paid a little more then i wanted to but in the end i have what i wanted. now just have to wait for the release of IM & IM2 then the Avengers steelbooks and i will be even happier.

Yeah Thor is getting expensive. It be hitting £70 - £80 soon so best just to get it out the way and pay a little more and now you don't have to worry about it anymore!
