Just curious, but does BB do as other sites do with honoring lower prices with pre-orders? I put my order in a couple of weeks ago at the $29.99 price point. I assume they do, but wasn't sure.

I read on a thread earlier (believe it was this one) that they do. I'm in the same boat as you are, buddy. They better gimme my money back!!! LOL

That's what I'm thinking like all the other steels I get from there. I'd be disappointed if i miss it though. But I guess if I can't get it at my normal best buy I stop at after work I'm driving best buy to best buy all night until I get one. :hilarious:

In store pick-up is always the way to go unless your OCD when it comes to condition. BB Employees are not exactly the greatest pickers...

every pre-order release that has shown "sold out" on bb's site will always reappear the day before release so people can choose in store pick up or shipping options. Bestbuy really does a relatively good job with their inventory count where they allow a certain amount for pre-orders and the rest for release day orders

Thor 2 Steelbook BB..........

2-25-14......Me and my girlfriend will be waking up early to go pick these up before work. We Might even swoop up her brother on the way to roll with. He's a Steelbook collector also. Anyway this is the plan....

•Going to Target first, it opens at 8am. Loki Slip! Mint Copies...
•At Best Buy by 9:59am for mint copies.
•It would be nice if there was a standard Lenti slip release like with Thor on the front...to match The Loki Slip!!! :hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:

Hopefully I can afford all that EEK! EEK! Really Would go great on The Shelf with all these marvel diamonds....look, here's pic..

There is a difference between preorders and regular shipments from BB when it comes to price matching. From Bestbuy's Q n A:

How does your price match policy apply to pre-orders and backorders? If the price of an item drops at the time of shipment, you will automatically pay the lower price. Your credit card is not charged until the time of the product's shipment.

How does your price match policy cover an item scheduled for delivery from BestBuy.com?If the price of an item drops at Best Buy at any time before its scheduled delivery date, we will refund 100% of the difference, including tax. To receive the lower price, you must call 1-888-BEST BUY (1-888-237-8289). Price matching cannot be processed in our stores or via e-mail. If you see a lower price at BestBuy.com or a Best Buy store near you, all conditions apply from our standard Low Price Guarantee.

I'm going to New York next year, do the Best Buys in Manhattan sell Steelbooks?
Just wondering for future reference!!

Every Best Buy store should carry some copies at the very least. It just depends on the size of the store. The bigger the size of the store, the more copies that store will get. Unless it's an exclusive release from other stores (like Walmart or Target, etc), otherwise, you'll find them at Best Buy for sure. :movie:

Yeah, the store down 5th Avenue had some when I was there a few years back with a decent Blu-ray range. I'll be going there with a long list when I go back there in October :)
