just to reiterate, I said low for USA .. so ofcourse run is bigger than normal 4k or the ultra runs of zavvi (2k) ... so compared to runs that USA normally does ... like MOS or django for example this is very small. I cant say exact so take that for what it's worth.

It's seems to me a bit strange that the fact that Iron Man/The Avengers/Thor/Captain America franchise is so big, why do a smaller run than Django?.

I'm kind of glad about it but optimistic too, first it makes my GB one a bit more special but if the US gets into steelbooks in a big way it gives us collectors more options.

Never mind, the weird ways of corporations are a different world to me, I've not worked for one for over 20 years nor would ever do again.

Maybe is to test out demand? Disney has been out of Steelbooks for a few years and they had quite a bit of demand for their Viva's. So this could very well be a run to see how demand is before committing to a bigger run. This is speculation only though.

To everyone worried about this, I remember when Zero Dark Thirty was coming out and it was sold out online, but there were still enough of them in stores to satisfy the early shoppers. They didn't sell out until mid-day. This may not be the case with this, however, so be prompt, but you shouldn't have a problem getting one if you are. If memory serves me, the ZDT was available for in-store purchase about 2 a.m. on its release day. So just drink some coffee and be patient if need be and you should be fine. Good luck guys.

Just be wary that when they do come back online, it very well could be only for in-store pickup. Inventory for online orders for home delivery has a very good chance to be out of stock. Just keep that in mind.
