Now the German SB art is up this makes even less sense. It'd make sense if localisation cost saving was behind the decision to have no titles etc but they don't even share the same art so its saving nothing, just bad decision making on Disneys end after all

It is with a heavy heart I officially cancelled today. This for me was THE steelbook of 2014 as most of the summer films won't be out till the end of the year. I just cannot and will not pay £25 for a cheap lightweight matte steel with poorly thought out design. Anything less than a premium steel that is comparable to the original HMV release is absolutely 100% unacceptable. I might pick this up when the price drops to below £15 as this isn't a collectable steel just a mass produced piece of junk!

I don't hate this like a lot of people do but i don't love it either. I like the wrap around pic but the spine and the back pictures just annoy me. The whole thing has left me a bit..... Meh.

Sounds like the best thing to do, in an ideal world everyone would cancel their pre-order therefore forcing a new design - but this isn't an ideal world!

There's been complaining on both Marvels Facebook and Twitter, they don't even have the respect to answer. They couldn't care less! This will be £17 days after release.

I hope Kimchi/Blufans are paying attention, they could make a killing out of this utter disaster by Disney. Full gloss, embossed, nice slip, limited run and different "fan approved" art and they would have an instant modern grail!

Wouldn't be the first time these companies have worked with Disney. Lone Ranger almost happened but got cancelled due to the film being crap/Bombed/Not suitable rather than a disagreement between companies.

I can always dream of a decent version from a small company like this, because it sure as hell isn't coming anywhere else. The Asian J cards might be nicer but it's still the same piece of junk underneath.

I have noticed that those on FB and twitter saying how nice it is, are all girls who will basically dribble over anything Chris's face is on lol! Even arriving with dents and spine slashes they will still think it's ace! It's most likely the only steelbook they will buy
