You can't keep comparing prices from years ago to today. Steelbook collecting has changed. It's a combination of inflation, rising costs and a realisation of the profit Steelbooks can bring. At least this includes the 3D version and if Zavvi were somehow able to get WEA on this, then it's probably worth the price they are asking.

You can when they offer lesser quality for the price now. If they started using thicker gauge steel and better paint and more disc, there would be no complaints. IMO

Yep, i imagine the final artwork will be different. Im sure it will be (hopefully) be a stunner to go with the hmv one.

I was going to comment on how far in advance this pre-order will be, but Zavvi have yet to put up a release date.
I'm guessing late march, can't see it being any earlier.

Most of the steelbooks for phase one and iron man 3 were not used as poster art. I doubt this will stay the same. I assume the art will be original like the others.

Yeah that seems about right. Think Iron Man 3 came out about 5 months after it's theatrical release. 5 months would put this at end of March, in time for Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

I'd love for this to sell out, i love looking at my rare steelbooks, it's what makes the hobby great. The steelbook for iron man 3 is as available as the amaray, it doesnt interest me. I'll cancel this if it isn't sold out by release and I don't enjoy the film.
