the no title thing is getting old quick, and the artwork isn't that nice either imo

I agree. This is rubbish compared to The Avengers releases that were handled by Paramount.

IMO I think it's cool to have full plain artwork.

I don't need to be reminded of the title of the movie I bought every time I look at it! :dunno:

I think, with no title now, it's safe to say we won't be expecting any embossing/debossing.

Why is that many collectors don't think the title is important? For me it is an important feature of any film. If every Steelbook was like this one, it would be a complete disaster. You would never know which film was which. It is not a design choice by Disney, it is a money saving choice and a really annoying one.

I totally agree - How would I ever tell the difference between this and my Le Grand Bleu Steelbook. I need writing god-dammit.

:ass:

the artwork is awesome and with the characters on the spine is brilliant it will sit well with the avengers (paramount). If you know the world of marvel then why do you need the name on the steelbook?

So it matches the other Marvel titles released as Steelbooks and because it simply looks better. The ones that Paramount handled looked great. Since Disney took over, the Steelbooks have been very underwhelming.

If its causing you so much distress, then you might as well stop collecting. I suggest moving to stamps.

Thanks for the advice.

I bet that's not what you typed initially :D

Being serious for a second, surely this is just a minor inconvenience rather than a complete disaster ? There are several releases without titles on the spine, and they all sit well within my collection, and I have no issues with telling which is which. I understand some people might not like it for aesthetic reasons, but 'complete disaster' is a bit of an over-reaction.

Personally I'm not overly keen on the new front image, but do like the spine.

The Avengers and Iron Man 3 were Disney releases too.[/QUOTE]

and they are 2 brilliant steelbooks, i much prefer characters on the spine as thats what i like you don't everyone has different taste if we all had the same imagine how boring life would be.
love the art. so do i.
