Thor 2 Zavvi

My Thor 2 finally showed up today! ( I got Iron Man 3 Zavvi days before it came out, Zavvi is slippin big time. You know they got to dispatch before all the cancellations )

I haven't opened it, but it appears to be ok. No visible slashes dings or chips. The first thing I noticed was the Metallic sheen on Thor's Shirt Buttons. I did a side by side comparison with my BB copy, and sure enough, No metallic sheen on Thor's buttons! I really like that extra detail, but I'll take a title on spine and front over that any day. Spine not as nice as Avengers SB. I'll probably end up opening it but I'm starting to collect sealed copies too! Might not be a bad idea for a double dip.

If you ordered the kimchi release you can take that pre-order slip and cover up the zavvi one with it. Problem Solved!!!

When I get my hands on the kimchi release, my Sealed Thor 2 BB is going in the Lenti slip. Like my MOS Lenti mag went on my German copy.

No. You have to allow 25 days for delivery. The last few orders with Yesasia were shipped from Singapore and took about 4 weeks for delivery. So better to wait until 17th March before contacting them.

Took some comparison pics of the Future shop version against the Zavvi version if anyone's interested.... Sorry, the quality isn't that of Ricster or Megabee, just an iPhone 5 camera! Lol

FS wins hands down, I prefer the dark colours (it is called the DARK world after all!) and until comparing in hand I'd not noticed how washed out Thor's face is on the Zavvi version! Seriously, is he wearing foundation?! Lol

I must admit, the finish on the back of Zavvi's is better IMO, I like the metallic sheen better... Zavvi also wins on the inside, purely because the empty disc slot blocks the best artwork on the whole steel in the FS version!
