Rick you might want to ask Wreck what's going on. He's in charge of site maintenance. Maybe one of your settings got changed but as far as I'm aware, that's how it's suppose to be. It's always been that way for me. I like it. PM Wreck and see what he says.

I have a hard time viewing threads now. I have to do an advanced search so I don't have to look at the thumbs. So I guess I will be doing a lot less posting or viewing:(

Hey guys-a few of us are Admins and Staff. I just turned these on, because I started to get numerous PM's of folks saying that when they 'searched' the forum, all they saw was flags, but it would be nice to see the different 'covers' in the search, in case you wanted to compare by title. It's just a test right now, to see what you all think. With all of the releases coming out, clicking each thread with a flag to see what it actually looks like can become a nuisance, too.

Feel free to keep chiming in-I can always turn this back off, if it's not something you all find useful, visually as you compare items and find info on the forum. Yes, thumbs next to threads themselves have been there for quite some time. The thumbs in the 'search' results screen was a recent add. Thanks all for your feedback-it's exactly what makes the community dyanamic at HDN:scat:

I don't think i ever saw the thumbnails when i hit new posts (i do now though) but when i went into a part of the forum, then they were displayed.

no issue for me personally but like DB said, please feel free to chime in with comments and suggestions

ps. this process might speed up after they are cached in your browser ... so if its still slow after like a week of you utilizing this then let us know.
