I picked this up for Mehdi. Why does everybody ***** about the shipping cost. They shipped on the 8th and I had them on the 9th.

mine came today ..... damaged! :(

Sorry to hear that :( I've had a similar experience myself recently with stuff from Amazon Japan. Let me guess - crappy flimsy card envelope? I can't believe they still use those things for shipping steelbooks. They should be used for books and amarays only.

At least they still have stock to provide a replacement.

Problem is, if you're outside of the U.S., the added fee for the customs on top of the shipping fees is often a deal killer :ohno:

It certainly is. As an example, the customs fees on the Res Evil Retributiion came to £17.40 (or $28). And if the item is damaged and they have to send you another one (as happened with me) then you pay the customs fees all over again.

Ordering titles like this one from Japan is just too price prohibitive for UK collectors most of the time.

My favourite out of all the Total Recall steelbooks. Sorry Korea and Taiwan but I prefer the Japan release on this one.

Interesting. I, by far, prefer the Taiwanese slipholder, which has some substance to it (not thin paper) and blends into or complements the artwork of the actual steelbook--whereas the Japanese version seems like a loud black and red banner that adds nothing to the artwork.

someone can confirm languages from this Steel?

Would you really open it? I mean if you're going to open might as well grab one of the cheaper versions from around the world.

Those are all very true statements. I think I'm just happy that they atleast distinguished the title with something rather than nothing since its limited to 1k.

I actually didn't mind it too much until I saw that picture. I didn't realize how thin the slip was, dislike very much now.

I dont mind the thin paper simply because I like to see the spine on this one and thus this allows it. It's like how Battle LA Japan is ... If you're gonna do thick j-card quarter slip then do the cool lettering on the spine as well. (like skyfall and taken 2) otherwise dont cover up my spine. ;p
