Yes, even though the new 4K steels for 1 - 3 have centred titles and there's no space for centred titled on No. 4 there's definitely ample space to fit a title in the top left hand corner on No. 4 just like they did with the far, far busier original TOY STORY (UK):-

That's another steelbook cancelled. It comes to something when the 4k box art is a million times better and that's the version I'd choose over this **** poor effort. Is there any point in these steelbooks anymore when every one seems to be a bitter disappointment? Hopefully they'll be a better version next year (as there always is!)

Yes, would have been nicer to have continuity with No.4 matching the original (UK) trilogy but as these new designs were decided on by the powers-that-be for the 4K releases and are due to be released in The States it was only a matter of time before they came to the UK ...

... with this new artwork style also applied to several others in the Pixar 4K collection:-

Haven't checked who's hand is behind the artwork but the style does remind me more than a little of the Colombian children's book illustrator Alejandro Mesa and his illustrations for PETER PAN (2018):-

It's all very well having a uniformed look to a set, but when it means older steelbooks don't fit the new aesthetic of the new designs, it doesn't sit well with me (not to mention, these designs feel so, so lazy to me)

Now in the position of hoping there is a premium edition in the pipeline that follows the original trilogy artwork. If it doesn't, will have 1-3 on steelbook and number 4 on a standard amaray case, which will really set off the collector in me!!

With the character cards and the murderously clever CHILD'S PLAY posters (both films released on the same day) even on the 'revenge' poster I get why this horrid grey background has been used for the steelbook and it's still probably the single most unappealing aspect for me ...

... apart from the missing title:-

As for bringing Woody and Chucky together: the famous tongue-twister comes to mind
"How much wood could a Woody Chucky chuck if a Woody Chucky could chuck wood?
As much wood as a Woody Chucky could chuck, if a Woody Chucky could chuck wood."

The artwork is poop which is why it hasn’t sold out the 3D or 4K, got to be a first time for a Pixar not to be sold out (until release day when the cancellations are put back up).
It will do as a placeholder for now.

Looks like we've been shafted again, while the USA/Best Buy Edition is full gloss appears based on images on Instagram that the UK version is matte :(

My copy hasn't arrived yet, anyone able to confirm?

It's spot-gloss (source steelbook.com).
