We've seen before some "sold out" but have been back for months, like Little Mermaid.

I don't how many times it needs to be pointed out, but that was because the print run was increased. The Jungle Book and The Little Mermaid started out as your standard print runs and sold out very quickly. Zavvi noticed this and so requested more copies which is why it came back into stock and is still in stock now.

If they look good you can expect those who have held out buying getting there order in

Its Disney/Pixar who decide the artwork and if its Matte or Gloss finish
Zavvi is just the seller and Disney approach zavvi do you want exclusive rights

With Disney making lot of money they will always choose the option that cost productive to them

I hope like the rest of you we see Gloss finish like Aladdin but that was the first one and was always going to be the best looking one of the releases to get us hooked
Its up to Disney to take notice of the customers wishes and I'm sure by now they know very well we want the same standard as Aladdin
Question is do Disney UK care what we think
Disney USA are better for customer service its a pity Disney UK don't have the same standard

It was one example. And Mermaid "sold out" more than once. Plus it says in the OP print run 4000-5000 so maybe they had another 1000 in stock to add.
But my point was that I think there were more factors in people cancelling than usual and Zavvi don't automatically update their system so there could be more than usual going back up and if people see it and don't like it, it could be up for a while.
