Nothing special about this release.

I bought the trilogy in Blu-Ray for £12. £4 per movie. So whoever say that this isn't overpriced, please, don't try to justify yourself. This is way to expensive.

This is not a collector edition at all. This release is made for Steelbook lovers who would pay whatever just to own a Steelbook case. Nothing to do with the movie or extras.

Agreed, even on a bad day, you can get Toy Story in normal amaray for about £7-£8, meaning you are paying £12-£13 for the packaging alone.

Pass for me.

That's not on Zavvi. That image became "happy Woody" years ago.

I always assumed in the original poster Woody's face wasn't as cheery as that

the lighting is a lot more dramatic in the image above too. in the older image it looks like sunset with the warm colours and long, contrasting shadows. The clouds also added to the illusion of depth/perspective. the zavvi one looks quite flat and cold in comparison.

I also prefer the terrified woody. the expression in the older art represents woodys mood throughout the film better than the joyful one. woody is never happy in the film. only in the end.

Had to cancel this and Toy Story 2 & 3, can't justify the price for 3 back catalogue steelbooks. I think they should be around the £15.99/£16.99 price range and will wait for them to go down in price if they dont go OOP first.

I did the same, £60 is to much for me too for these, ill wait and see if they drop them like junglebook to £9.99 each, if not then ill leave them.

They should include the 3D disc and maybe than I'd consider it... depending on the actual finish and look of the steelbook etc.

I'm a bit skeptical with Zavvi since TLM, The Rocketeer and some other steelbooks. They did some weird things lately...

i'm thinking on cancelling all these too, since i have the iron packs, actually the obly one i dont really like from the irons is the number 2 since it is similar to the first one but with different color, for sure i will cancel the third since i love my iron pack so shiny ...

I have the TS 1-3 IronPacks but they're probably the least attractive metal cases I own, so boring looking. I could forgive 3 if 1+2 each had a different character on them, but as it is they only have logos and the spine design is different. These Zavvi releases are much better, and are the only ones I'll probably replace out of the North American ones I already have.

Y'all do know that even if you do pre order and the price goes down, zavvi will reimburse you the difference

I don't think I've ever seen Zavvi reduce a price, and I've certainly never had any reimbursement from them.
