So judging from the side of that box and the crushed corner's it looks to be the of the same quality as the Breaking Bad box ie crap, Zavvi or Hut sending this in Jiffy's....

I had this ordered and cancelled at the last minute, pleased I did now any item with crushed corner's/box damage due to someone's laziness or stupidity is getting send straight back regardless of whether it is OOS or not...

Yes. Really disappointed.

And that's why I've stopped ordering boxsets from Zavvi, no matter how great a bargain some of them are. It's so disappointing the receive badly dented and crushed boxes, because they just wouldn't use sturdy boxes. Charge me an extra packaging fee, I don't care - but make sure the items arrive undamaged at the customers! @zavvi

i kinda wanted the box but i was a bit worried about shipping across the pond. I forgot I had the German copies on order for about $50 and they shipped a couple days ago. Think i am glad it working out that way

I'm happy with the US steelbooks at $52 + tax. They are debossed or embossed but they look really nice and i can use the digital HD codes.

I don't know why these arnt being shipped in boxes. It certainly isn't a cost issue as they get us to wrap everything including cheap plastic protein shakers with bubble wrap and then box them.

I haven't seen them in the warehouse though tbh so maybe they arnt in the Warrington depot

Do you work in the Hut Warehouse in Warrington
Zavvi mostly use the warehouse in channel islands for steelbooks and other zavvi website items for sale

The Hut website and some other Hut group sectors use the UK warehouse including Zavvi but most of the Zavvi website items for sale are shipped from warehouse in channel islands especially the steelbooks

Zavvi website steelbooks are shipped from Hut warehouse on occasions so it's normal to not see some steelbook releases in the hut warehouse as most are shipped from channel islands


If this had of been shipped from the Hut warehouse it would have been in a Box and be tracked as well but it's lucky dip as to when Zavvi use UK warehouse to ship box sets and the type of packaging that is used.

Sometimes packaging is excellent for box sets but lot of the times it's a jiffy bag
They need to be consistent with packaging for the box sets be it a standard Blu-ray or DVD box set and steelbook box sets as in use good packaging a box with protection inside.
