Members have confirmed that catalog # 551123 does indeed come with the lenticular slip and
the 3d disc. 3d disc is region free.

I emailed them a day before I ordered... I received a reply two days after I ordered (had already waited 24 hours, wasn't going to hold off ordering any longer so I took the risk).

I asked if I was to order "now" would I receive the lenticular slip, but just got the same response everyone gets: "only initial batch". Very vague answer which took 72 hours to get. I guess the language barrier doesn't help much.

yep, I received similar answer too "about being intial batch only comes with lenticular slipcover".

like most slipcover, they make so many of them..and once they run out, then it's gone. just like the amaray case in the US...once the slipcover is gone, then they start selling the amaray case without the slipcover.

i don't think it is language barrier here, the staff surely speak English.
I think you should be safe, as there is still some copy in store but not much, but they probably don't know how many total orders are placed and how many copies are left in total, then they may prefer to provide a vague answer.
I went to the stores, i asked if they keep any stock somewhere, and they just replied me that every copy that they got have been placed on the shelf. So when no more copy available in the store, they don't receive it anymore.
I also noticed that they only sell the lenticular version steelbook in store, not the simple version of the steelbook alone. But what is confusing is that they show a picture of the simple steelbook without lenticular cover online. So i guess but i'm not sure, that once it is OOS online, they will simply remove the link from the online store and replace it by the amaray version (it should be clearly indicated as now they are still showing "steelbox"). Unless if they receive additional batch of the simple steelbook version later on...
I also think it is not fair to not get a clear answer, it turns out to be a lucky draw. hopes i didn't give you headache.

at least they know about dented steelbook...some online shop just send customers dented steelbook and hope they accept it LOL

Ok, go to hmv.com.hk and in the search drop-down menu choose 'catalogue number' and enter 551123. Best not to use a direct link cos it mangles up cookies and you won't be able to add item to basket. It's a weird site like that.

As for the dented stock thing that sounds odd to me. Everybody else is having their order shipped, so they've held back only 1 person's orders due to damaged stock? Very strange. I can only report that I placed my order on Friday and it was shipped within 24 hours. So I don't know what's going on with Leshita's order.

And yeah, there's no guarantee it will be a lenticular, but nobody has received a non-lentic so far so I'm quietly optimistic

Packed well. Bubble wrapped individually, strong cardboard box and a little bit of foam to take up the extra space in the box. Lucky it was there too as that side got a little bit crushed. The slip looks really nice!

It was marked as a gift, but at full value - 658 HK$

Yeah, I specifically asked about why I seem to be the only one whose order is held back too.
Maybe it has something to do with me returning one Steelbook before due to damage. Though my other orders were placed with a new account... unless they somehow flagged my address.
