Will that ship with :
1) a lenticular slip
2) a normal slip
3) no slip
?

was there even a version released in HK without a slip?

Yeah it's pretty much a toss up. It's whatever they have left instore I guess. I got mine from them when it was first released and they were still sending out the lenticular slips.

You can take a risk here to see if they will send you one with the normal slipcover.

Were you able to use the US lenticular slip on the steelbook?

Tight fit but I have seen it done...

Here is an old photo of a German 3D TF3 steelbook fitting in the US Lenticular slipcover of the TF3 3D amaray keep case (which is $19.99 at Best Buy this week) -

Just an update I contacted CS via email regarding if the SB still includes the slipcover? They responded with this:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for your enquiry!

Unfortunately this title has been deleted by the suppliers and is no longer available for ordering.

Regards,

Customer service
HMV Hong Kong

Thats so silly, they should then take down the listing...

Thats the first thing that crossed my mind but maybe they're just sending out just the steelbook alone and the slipcover version is no longer available. I was tempted in ordering it but thats a big risk if i'm just paying $60US just for the SB alone. The slipcover is more limited which gives me more interest in getting it.

Appreciate the link but how's there packaging? Also has anyone else ordered a copy recently?

The packaging I received when I ordered this awhile back was a lot of bubble wrap inside a bubble mailer. I believe if you order more items they should send it in a box.

Unfortunately HMV HongKong is infamous when it comes to this instock issues. Maybe you can find a kind HK member on here to help instead. Might be a better bet just so you can make sure.

Alright i have a dilemma that i need a couple of good people opinions. Im debating on whether to pay 200 to 250 USD for 1 lenticular slip or pay 176 USD for 3 second press slip. Hard decision to make given the lenticular is very nice but the second press slip is considerably identical. Pretty sure the second press slip will be rare soon but will it be as rare as the lenticular slip. I havent witnessed any second press edition in any country becoming as rare as the first.

The lenticular slipcover is nice and all but at $200-$250 thats a bit much. Sellers on Ebay sold sealed copies between $186-$200 in the last 2 auctions. Other members have told me the regular slipcover is hard to find as well so having the opportunity to buy 3 might be a good opportunity. It just depends how much you want TF w/lenticular slipcover. Also do you have to buy all 3 copies?

Not at all. I can buy one for 54 USD but if i decide to pay 200 to 250 for the lenticular slip might as well pay around the same for 3 of the regular slips and keep 2 of them for safe keeping since im fairly sure they will be long gone soon.

It's about what you want, if you want the rare harder one to get then that is the Lenticular cover. If your not bothered about that slip, just get the normal one and much, much cheaper price. Simple as that.

I just checked HMV HK and the shipping date was 05/09 so whatever is on it's way was in stock at least...how exciting

Did you order TF 3 from HK? I ordered one from there ages ago, I got the normal slip, NOT the lenticular one. I emailed them and they said that is the 'first print' which is limited. After they go its just the standard slip.

At this point it's not whether it comes with slipcover or not but hows they're packaging. HMV isn't exactly good in that department unless they've improved recently.

Yeah I ordered from HMV HK...I already own the lenticular one so the standard slip would be nice for my collection also

I'll post pics of the packaging also for anyone that's interested
