I guess im the only person that actually enjoyed this movie:p

And I think the hype is that now people can complete their TF collection in steelbook form and they actually all match each other somewhat perfectly. The German steelbook is garbage and while the FS one may be the most collectible, not many have it and it stands out from its TF1 UK and TF3 counterparts having a blu banner and no embossing. If this is embossed, then collectors will have a seamless line of the TF series looking all like good buddies on the shelf together lol. So all in all this is a great release for the steelbook community imo. And if the finish comes anywhere close to the FS one then it will trump it i think.

I agree, it's a fun movie to watch, especially the IMAX scenes. I don't know if it's going to trump the Futureshop version though. That was a pretty limited release. Regardless if this one tops it in respect to finish, it won't be as rare.

The only reason why the FS version of this became a grail was because of a powerful one-two punch.

Glossy + Rarity = oooooh. ahhhhh!

Same exact thing with Watchmen FS. Glossy + Rare.

It's not rocket science.

ROTF Future Shop had a 10K run.

Watchmen FS was more than that.

Given enough time, things even with a big print run can become rare. :oohyeah:

Seriously? Wow. Based on how collectors regard these two, I had just assumed it had to be much lower than that. Amazing that they are so rare and valuable.

Thanks for that info apsmith.

Kinda makes me think these Zavvi 4Kers are gonna be extremely rare, especially as more and more new steelbook collectors get sucked into the game.

I thought it was more rare too. The Zavvi steelbooks will only be as rare until some other retailer decides to re-print their exclusives.

Yeah definitely, I mean with an awesome steel like the ROTF FS once all 10K got into the hands of collectors who don't want to sell/trade their copy it becomes difficult to find one available and supply and demand says the value/cost goes up :)

I for one love my ROTF FS and would never get rid of it. If the Zavvi ROTF is even half as good as the FS version, new collectors should be really happy with it

Ii doesn't matter if Zavvi is making re-releases for all SB. Cause Im sure of one thing that will hunt you all your life, if u are a real SB collector, is that some of Us have the original first ONE and Ur not. It doesnt matter the way you want to see it or talk about it. Just keep doing it to satisfy yourself.... Keep Hunting! Nahh.. I'm joking!

I love it when steels have the blue banner. It shows that it is the original. It is like first edition books. Newer books are improved in some way or the other but collectors know which to seek out.....:)

I cant make up my mind whether to get this Zavvi.....probably not...
