Just because we've had them in the past doesn't mean we will ever have them again. No UK distributor releases Steelbooks with printed backs. The last to do so was Second Sight, but they quickly learned. Disney have seen the error of their ways too, printed backs are a thing of the past for us UK folk.

Never said we would, just pointing out that the UK has infact, had some steels with printed back steels was all - correcting the claim that the 'uk never had printed backs'
though clearly, if this years Disney steels are anything to go by, they certainly have seen the error of their ways

I meant to quote it and say that UK doesn't ever litter the back with text.

I never said "Littered" I said It'll have logos and text on the back like Thor, Captain America, the Batman wave, the goonies etc. It's unnecessary as that is what the J-card is for, yet Zavvi continue to do it.

i'm happy we finally get a new release for this second Transformers movie but already releasing a new steelbook for the third movie which you can still buy on almost every corner of the street is just ridiculous :ass:

Why would it match the style of it, the first Transformers Steel is the same cover that they used for DVD, standard Blu in the UK and US. I wouldn't be surprised if this is going to be the same as the current Revenge of the Fallen cover.

I already own the FS version, and think this would look good, it's exactly the same as the FS one, but in black instead:

I'm expecting that they'll use a movie poster like Thor and CA. Doesn't matter to me anyway since I loathe this film. Hopefully they release the first on steel.

I reckon it will be the UK amaray artwork also, the Play Transformers was and Paramount went that way with CA and Thor.
Personally I'd love the big screen edition artwork shown above as a twin for the FS!
