Though, I actually quite liked it, not a part of the anti Leto brigade & he certainly wasn’t the issue unless you listen to gossip.
They took it somewhere new, which was teased at the end of Legacy but didn’t really go anywhere amazing with it.
Shame, as it’s probably the end of line for the series.

I’ve not seen it yet. Thought the trailers looked quite good but then heard nothing but bad things and that they completely ignore the ending of legacy but I’ll still give it a go at some point and make my own decision

Definitely acknowledges the end of Legacy. It needs one more movie to tie everything in the series together. That was obviously the intention with Ares, but sadly, now it probably won't happen. Could've been really great.

i might be in the minority, but i really enjoyed it. i thought the acting was fine (notwithstanding a rather 2D real world villain), the action sequences were fun, and film overall was lean and didn't have much fat or wasted momentum. & the IMAX aspects were very good. it doesn't all hang together perfectly, but it's much better than i expected. looking forward to watching it again.

The film was okay. Nothing bad about it as such. The front of this steel just looks off, though. Whereas the matching designs on the first 2 look great. Probably because it's off centre and there's a massive leto head haha
