I am not sure how I can avoid picking this up....this wave is looking utterly irresistable! Especially the new titles not previously released by Amazon JP....

I wish they'd emboss them at least, I would consider biting on Troy, Heat perhaps if they just put more effort into the finish at least....

I agree...I still don't get the love for these white steelbooks...they look so plain and the artwork looks rushed on photoshop...before this wave, I thought they were cool because they were rare, but now, what's the allure?

KP, I have the white ones from JP already, but I am still hoping we'll get some surprise-1 disc, no paint finish, no extras? Big pass, esp at 17.99GB, come on Warner....

They look really good when you've got a series of QUALITY films with the white art lined up together, but when they release tat like 10,000 BC and 300 it sort of defeats the object.

You need to chill out on your critiscism of Play.com. These aren't play.com exclusives and Play aren't deciding on their own which movies to release when they do get exclusives.

And they aren't re-releases when they haven't been released in the country they're getting released in.

How come no-one complains when a new movie gets a release in more than just on country? Why do they need to do that when you could just get it from whatever country first decides to release it.

This will continue to happen so just get used to it. There's no need for 50% of a thread to consist of arguements about re-releases.

Btw, I just got this from Canada but I'm not complaing about it. These things happen and seeing as steelbooks have taken off this year it's bound to happen many many times in the future.
Switch to Viva's if you want exclusivity but just realize that it will probably happen with them too down the road.

Could agree more, I've got the 300, matrix & Troy coming from canada which I ordered before these were announced, but **** happens. Il just order the ones I haven't got :)

I recently bougt TDK, Matrix and Se7en from amz.jp and already have some of the steels released in CA. But when dealing with a multibillion dollar corporation these things are to be expected.

However I would have liked if they hadn't released these but expect for not buying them there's not much I can do about it.
