I'd be more worried about people that willingly buy it... they should have their Collector Card revoked.

This steelbook does its assigned job well - warns people with simple schematic sign and designated color: green shite inside, do not touch.
If it gets down to Black Friday amray levels, I’ll buy it, but otherwise, I’m just praying we get a premium (or a rerelease with the art that some EU markets are getting).

Why are Americans so reluctant to import, even 25 years later? You don't even have any import tax, basically.

Shipping generally kills any value. I’ve ordered from the EU before, but only when the price has dropped enough to justify it or when I could get free shipping from Zavvi, but now AFAICT< they dont’ even sell the good stuff to the USA market.

If you order a few items, the tax deduction should make shipping literally free. Can't buy 1 title at a time of course.

I’m not aware of any tax deduction for shipping on a media. Maybe if this was a business I could do it, but as an individual, I’m unaware of how I could do that.

@Steely-Booked
Importing from UK/EU Amazon websites
Ordering from Amazon UK and Amazon EU websites when amazon is the seller or when seller is third party and item sold is been fulfilled by amazon (Fulfilled = Shipped by amazon) vat is removed from price at checkout if delivery address is in USA it's been like this for over 20 years.

Amazon UK Twister Collector's Edition
UK price is £44.99 (That price includes UK 20% Vat)
Vat removed price is £37.49

Like @paulboland wrote above, most stores deduct VAT, besides Amazon, if you order from Second Sight, 101Films, and others directly, they also subtract it, and shipping for 2-3 editions becomes like £3-5.
With Amazon it can even be free, compared to buying for full price to a local address.
Same with Germany, Italy, most other countries.
I guess that's another American myth debunked - ordering from overseas is expensive. :D

I that was the case, I’d do it, but I just looked on Amazon, and it’d cost $50 usd shipped. That’s more than I’m willing to spend for this flick. There was a time when I use to buy stuff form Amazon overseas, because it was literally less than buying the same release locally, but I can’t justify paying a 66% premium.

Is that for a £45 CE from the other thread? 'Cause that should cost $59.
Well exsqueeze me, what are we talking about here at all then? That's the minimal price of CEs now. This isn't 'Goodwill'... :facepalm:
