Found this info luckily when waiting for Amazon.ca Alliance deal last night. UFA or other name, Universum Film AG ( can read more detail about company here --->

Now here are some awesome news about this Steelbooks. Due to negative users comments on bluray-disc.de they passed this information on to Universal and they decided to stopp those artworks today. This Steelbooks will get new Covers with original Artworks and they are already working on new packshots. And the logos will be stickers

The cover change is very, very good news. Super cool that they're listening to their customers and doing something about it. Original theatrical artwork usually looks decent enough, so I'd consider picking up three or four of the titles now.

Well that's one hell of an improvement. Strike one for the consumer.

Still don't like "Fifth Element" but see that that is the standard German Amaray cover: US version is better imho, although in the circumstance it might not be the best artwork for a SB.

The other titles, to my eyes, are for steelbook addicts
