You cant assume anything, as its limited i would guess the max would be 4k. But who cares the artwork on this looks awesome.

I saw it when they first posted it, before it went live and pre orders started, it said ultra limited edition. They changed it to just limited shortly after.

Yeah... isn't it funny how they quick they are to shove the ULTRA and LIMITED messaging for virtually everything they have.. but when it comes to massive print runs not only do you not hear a peep.. but they actually go into hiding!!

It woulda been more awesome if they added The Next Avengers to this steelbook might just customize it and add an extra disc holder to it for the third movie

So it's time to let sleeping does lie, and look forward to release. It's clear the artwork alone is definitely appealing to many, which no doubt contributed to the increased print run.

It may affect collectivity value in the long run, but on the upside, many more individuals get to enjoy this release at a reasonable price rather than being forced to pay the scalpers to get their hands on it.

Just checked my order dated 15th feb, states limited print run.

We all know zavvi customer services arent the best informed so i take the above with a pinch of salt, bottom line im glad i got my order in early for this regardless of actual print run

'limited' is misleading anyway. everything in the universe is limited. the question is, HOW limited.

they should be more specific and give a number. we all know its limited.

since when has 'we wont print these for all eternity' been a selling point.. its stating the obvious!

More like 4000 - 2000 is usually an Ultra Limited Print Run.

Those four posts are effectively confirmation that at the time the listing was put up, it stated 'limited print run'. The fact that others ordered as soon as it went live and it states 'limited print run' on their order pages is further confirmation. I know it's hard to admit when you're wrong but sometimes you just have to.

even if they printed 200 billion copies- enough for each person on earth to have several billion copies each and pave the roads of the worlds major cities with them... it would still be a limited edition.

How is that? wayne71 says that the listing states 'limited print run' and asks if it would be limited to 2000 copies. GoDo responds saying that it will more likely be 4000 as 2000 copy print runs are usually described as an 'ultra limited print run'. It's very basic comprehension.
