Totally agree, but not sure if lionsgate UK has done anything other than matte. It's their popular finish

I kind of agree with this in terms of Marvel animated but the DC ones (especially the Batman ones) are a lot darker. I'd much prefer the newer DC animated ones - Flashpoint Paradox, an English version of Superman Unbound, and any Justice League - to any Marvel ones. If done like the US/Canadian Dark Knight Returns then it would be great.

As for anime, if they release the original Neo Genesis Evangelion series I'd be happy.
